MRON to Extend Service Network to Smaller Cities (Aug 27, 2008 1125 hrs IST )
MRON International, an importer and distributor of computer peripherals, consumer electronics and power conditioning products, plans to set up service and support offices in Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and Kolkata by the end of October, 2008.
At present, the company has service facilities in 26 cities.
According to Naveen Garg, director of MRON International, there are about 62 B & C class cities in India, besides the metros, which hold immense business potential in the days to come. "We intend being closer to our partners and customers so that we are able to support them when it comes to support and service. These centers are well-equipped with skilled service engineers and have proper infrastructure and adequate buffer stock to meet the needs of customers and to cut down transit delays."
The company intends to make the entire RMA process online shortly for its customers to check the warranty and generate the RMA number for fast tracking.
The service centers will not just attend to the warranty products, but also out-of-warranty products on a chargeable basis. The company is also focusing on upcountry sales, according to Garg. "Hence for better support to our customers in small locations we need to have the service hubs in key locations. A senior service engineer will also hold training programmes for the technicians of our distributors at regular intervals," he added.
He further added, "Our objective is to offer smooth and hassle-free service and support to partners and end-customers. Besides, customers feel more assured being serviced by the direct office rather than a third-party."
